RBI ups Repo & Reverse Repo by 0.25% each; CRR unchanged

The Reserve Bank of India, in an expected move, raised repo and reverse repo rates by 25 basis points to 6.5% and 5.5%, respectively. It has kept the CRR unchanged at 6%, while there has been no cut in the SLR.
